self-love coaching

I’ve found that sweet, sensitive people often don’t have the self-esteem they need to be fully expressed in their lives. And I’m not okay with that, because sensitive folks are my favorite kinds of people. I believe they have a lot to offer the world.

I help people learn to like themselves by getting to know who they are; taking small, manageable steps toward their goals; overcoming perfectionism; and embracing themselves and their accomplishments.

As a result of our work together, clients have:

♥  gone from just-laid-off from a job they loathed to owning their own creative business that they love

♥  gained awareness of their negative self-talk and replaced it with words of encouragement and self-acceptance

♥  zipped from unemployed and discouraged to two job offers in two months

♥  stopped over-scheduling themselves with things they felt they “had to” do, and allowed themselves time for rest and the things they actually love

The benefits are profound (to say the least). Clients report:

♥  feeling freedom from years of heavy guilt

♥  experiencing compassion for themselves, their families, their friends, and their coworkers

♥  finally being able to do what they want to do with their lives

♥  forgiving themselves for the past so they can move forward at last

How we work together: We meet by phone or Skype voice. It’s very gentle, and very not-intimidating. You have homework after each session, which is critical to the process. In between sessions, you email me with the results of your homework, in preparation for our next meeting.

How to Begin: If you’re ready to begin working with me as a coach, the first step is to email me (kylie.springman@gmail.com) to schedule a free twenty-minute consultation, where we’ll figure out whether we’d be a good fit for one another.

If we’re a fit, then we’ll determine whether Tiny Bubbles or Magic School will work best for you.

Tiny Bubbles ($200)

Tiny Bubbles offers focused support for when you’re experiencing a specific, contained problem. Some examples are: preparing for a difficult conversation with your boss, making an important life decision, or reclaiming a sense of fun in a too-serious life.

What it includes:

♥  One initial 60-minute coaching session

♥  A pre-session reflection exercise to help you identify what’s at the heart of the issue and how I can help

♥  Unlimited email support between sessions

♥  A second 60-minute coaching session, to be used within six weeks of your initial session

Magic School ($240/month for 4 months)

Magic School is a deep commitment you make to becoming the person you’re meant to be. It provides regular support for issues that are deeply ingrained in your life. Some examples are: gaining the confidence and resources to start a business from scratch, transitioning from a job you hate to one you love, shifting the way you communicate to friends and family, making over the way you talk to yourself, or freeing yourself from a lineage of shame or abuse.

What it includes:

♥  Twelve 45-minute coaching sessions (three per month for four months)

♥  A pre-coaching reflection package to help you begin to explore who you are and what you want

♥  Unlimited email support between sessions

TESTIMONIALS:

I started Magic School when the stress in my life became difficult to manage on my own. I knew I needed a change. The time was right, and I realized that the accountability of coaching would motivate me to stay committed to my desire to make those changes.

During the course of coaching, I discovered that the fear which held me back could be overcome with knowledge. The more that I delved into my weekly exercises, the more that I knew. “Knowing,” however, was sometimes really uncomfortable. I also realized that I had lived most of my life waiting for permission. By nature, I am easy-going, but also a people-pleaser. To not rock the boat, it was often easier to wait until it was “okay” to do things. During my final session with Kylie, when I reviewed all that I had accomplished in our time together, it hit me: I had made the shift to stop waiting for permission! I was asserting myself more often, addressing my needs, and letting others know what I needed. I realized that I was the best advocate for myself. While I entered coaching with other goals in mind, I found that this much-needed shift, which I didn’t even realize I needed, is the foundation for success in all the other areas of my life.

Kylie, with her ever-listening ear and gentle yet firm encouragement, guided me to this accomplishment. Now that is magic to me!”

Coaching with Kylie has really impacted me and changed my life in a wonderful way. It’s like I have a new magic mirror, a way of seeing myself with new eyes. I’m coming away from our sessions with specific tools to use, but I also have a better feel for my own ability to discern and choose my direction and path. I’ll think of our sessions when I paint, when I travel, all the time. The time I spent in coaching with Kylie has been an incredible gift.

Kylie’s coaching process has a gentle magic to it. I experienced it as the two of us, easily planting seeds that would, later in the process, suddenly sprout and present themselves as beautiful things. The sum of our 12 sessions together was magnificent; the basic gist being that I have gained a much greater sense of confidence and self-worth. I consider our results to be long-lasting and priceless.

Kylie has an incredible ability to create safe and nurturing spaces around her, whether you’re in the same room or talking on the phone from 1000 miles away. Before I started coaching with her, I thought the idea of my starting a creative business was completely ridiculous. Who on earth would be interested in buying my things? Now I’m a professional painter whose client base is growing slowly but surely each day. I feel like I’m living my passion and that I could never again settle for anything less.

- Adriana Willsie | Chicago

Kylie’s positive, calm attitude during coaching allowed me to settle into the space and focus during our sessions. She was especially empathetic in regards to my thoughts and feelings, which enabled me to create realistic goals for myself. After only a few sessions, I felt more confident and realized that finding a job was actually possible for me.

Kylie Springman is just one of the sweetest souls I ever did meet. On reading her words or seeing her smile or having a chat, you sense her full attention, her active listening, her complete understanding, and all the support she has to give. She has that wonderful ability to make you feel like you’re the only person in the room, and that you have someone that cares about you. Kylie’s the introspective friend/coach/confidant that an extrovert like me needs, respects, and admires. Oh, and have I mentioned that she’s smart and makes the best brunch in all of Brooklyn? Because that’s all the truth. I already love her as an author, a photographer, and a friend — I know that, as a coach, she’ll deliver in spades.

- Michelle Ward | The When I Grow Up Coach | New York

Kylie is one of the kindest, gentlest souls I’ve ever met — and one of only a handful of people I know that I can say honestly, truly know how to listen. She has a compassion and empathy that make you feel an instant connection with her, while her striking insights and observations really get to the heart of the topic at hand.

- Lauren Falkowski | Lola Falk Designs | New York

Thank you so much for your divine, delicious, gentle guidance – perfectly placed questions and sprinkling of magic. After months of procrastination I moved quickly and have a whole set of merchandise ready to sell within two weeks!

- Clare Campbell | Liverpool

I think the name ‘Magic School’ is perfect for something done by Kylie. She has elevated the concept of ‘care’ to mystical proportions — with a profound sense of silence, she knows the power of taking time for things. (If you have ever watched her take a full hour to eat a cookie you would know what I mean.) Because this is her way, she notices the little things, the tiny sprouts so often overlooked in this world of short and blaring diversions. She is like a gardener of the spirit.

- Marcia Willsie | Ezekiel’s Table | New Jersey

Kylie is one of the most intuitive people I have ever met. An incredible listener, Kylie has the gift of seeing into the soul of everyone she encounters and offers wisdom without judgement. She’s proof that beauty can exist both inside and out on every level.
